A club for first responders

The Blue Line Bass Club is a Texas bass fishing club built for first responders. Robert “Bobby” Townes founded it in 2014.

Its members are law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS, military police, and retirees from those services, and they fish a season of club tournaments on Texas lakes.

What the club gives back

A place for first responders to decompress and build camaraderie. The club is working to raise funds for first responders injured on the job and for families who have lost a first responder, and it supports local community events.

Common Questions

Questions about the discount

Retail means work you pay for yourself. The discount does not apply to work paid in whole or in part by an insurance claim. If any part of a job is later paid through an insurance claim, the discount does not apply to that job. The discount is 5%, up to $1,000 per job. One discount per job. Does not combine with other offers.

Who qualifies for the discount?

Blue Line Bass Club members and their relatives. Members are law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS, military police, and retirees from those services.

What does the discount cover?

5% off retail roofing and retail interior and exterior painting, up to $1,000 off per job. Retail means work you pay for yourself.

How does the $1,000 cap work?

The 5% comes off your written quoted price. A $12,000 retail roof is $600 off. The discount reaches $1,000 at a $20,000 job, and $1,000 is the most any one job gets: a $30,000 roof and paint job is still $1,000 off. Roofing and painting on the same job share the one $1,000 cap. It is the same cap as our first responder discount.

Does it apply to an insurance claim?

No. Texas law requires you to pay your deductible on an insurance claim, so the discount applies only to retail work you pay for yourself.
