How Extended Coverage Works
Same standard. Different corridor.
The Roof Shepherd’s education-first, documentation-before-decisions approach is the same regardless of which Texas corridor you’re in. In Central Texas, The Roof Shepherd operates directly out of Round Rock. In North Texas and Southeast Texas, service is fulfilled through a vetted, licensed documentation visit — the documentation standard, the homeowner education posture, and the insurance-safe approach do not change.
Physical roofing installation and repair in all three corridors is handled by licensed roofing contractors. The Roof Shepherd’s role is observation, documentation, guidance, and education — the decision and the contract remain the homeowner’s.
Common Questions
Common questions about service area coverage
Does The Roof Shepherd serve my city?
The Roof Shepherd serves 87 cities across three Texas corridors. Central Texas (52 cities) runs from Waco south through Austin to San Antonio — this is the primary territory based in Round Rock. North Texas DFW (12 cities) and Southeast Texas Houston Metro (10 cities) are covered through a vetted extended corridor. Select your corridor above to find your city.
What is the difference between the Central Texas and extended corridors?
Central Texas is the home territory — full service scope including roofing, storm documentation, gutters, painting, drywall, and surface coatings. DFW and Houston Metro are extended corridors where roofing guidance, storm damage documentation, and gutter condition review are available. Full property protection services are Central Texas only.
How do I get started if I'm outside Central Texas?
Use the Get Help form and select your city. For extended corridor cities, The Roof Shepherd confirms coverage for your city and coordinates your documentation visit. Response and scheduling are handled the same way regardless of corridor.
