Accessibility features on this site
- Semantic HTML structureAll pages are built with semantic HTML5 elements including nav, main, header, footer, article, and section — providing clear document structure for screen readers.
- Keyboard navigationAll interactive elements — navigation, menus, forms, accordions, and buttons — are fully operable by keyboard. Tab order follows logical reading order.
- Skip-to-content linkA skip navigation link appears at the top of every page, allowing keyboard and screen reader users to bypass the main navigation.
- Color contrastText and background color combinations throughout the site meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Alt textAll informational images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes so screen readers skip them.
- WCAG 2.1 AA targetThe Roof Shepherd targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance as a baseline standard across all pages.
