What this video shows

What this shows: A short Taylor video on why hail near a home does not prove roof damage, and how an inspection with photos documents what is visible, even when nothing is found. It belongs here because it explains what a hail history lookup can and cannot tell you.

A hail report near your address tells you a storm passed through. It does not tell you what happened to your roof. Whether a roof was damaged depends on the size of the hail that actually fell on it, the wind behind that hail, and the age and condition of the roof when it was hit. Two houses on the same street can come out of the same storm very differently. That is why hail history is a reason to look, not a conclusion. An inspection with dated photos records what is actually visible on the roof, and that record is worth having either way, including when the honest finding is that no damage is visible.
