What this video shows
What this shows: A past relief event from November 2025: roof assessments offered around Houston after a tornado. It is not a current offer, and it stays as a record of showing up after a storm.
Tornado and straight line wind damage does not read like hail damage, and the difference changes how a roof has to be documented. Wind lifts shingles at the rakes, ridges and eaves first, peels courses back in the direction the wind traveled, and usually concentrates on one or two slopes instead of spreading evenly across the roof. That is also why timing matters more after wind than after hail: a shingle that was lifted and broke its seal strip will lie back down and reseal in Texas heat within a few days, so the roof looks intact again while the seal that held it down is still compromised. A record made in the first days after the storm captures the lifting; a record made a month later usually cannot.
