Hail and Wind Damage Found During a Round Rock, Texas Roof Inspection

This property showed storm-related conditions across more than just the shingles. During the inspection, I documented visible hail impacts to metal roofing components, hail spatter on exterior surfaces, damage around a window and wind-damaged shingles. The metal vent cap shown in this video provides especially clear physical evidence of repeated impacts. These types of components matter during a storm inspection because metal, siding, windows, flashing and other exposed surfaces can help document what happened to the property, not just what is visible on the roof covering.
